The development of the Monte Carlo simulation for LDMX, through extensions of the GEANT4 framework, is at the core of the thesis work. Active participation on the LDMX experiment, and potentially other Nuclear and Particle Physics experiments, is the second crucial part of the PhD work, following preparations at Lund as well as at the respective international particle accelerator site. This includes subsequent data analysis, physics interpretation, and presentation of the scientific results, written and orally.
