To support our growing market, we are looking to hire a high-performing individual for the position of Technical Sales Specialist. The role will be preferably based out of the San Fransisco Bay Area, or close to any major US hub.
Wanted: Technical Sales Specialist (PhD) for continued US expansion
In the position of Technical Sales Specialist, it is your main focus to accomplish your sales targets. You are involved in the complete sales cycle and closely collaborate with your sales colleagues around the globe, as well as with key members of the applications, product management, and marketing communications teams.
US West Coast Technical Sales
Lead the customer relationship from beginning across the product lifecycle: You will consult the customer on preparing their requirements documents and propose a solution that optimally fulfills their needs. You will prepare technical specifications documents and get it approved by the clients to initiate production. You are the primary contact for your assigned customers and assist the customers throughout the process of the sale, production, delivery, installation, and training, as well as after-sales support up to the retirement of the instrument. You will learn to understand the technicalities of the Nanosurf instrument lines, enabling you to address the customer's pain points from a technical, as well as from an AFM user’s perspective.
Proactively develop your sales area and be your customers’ favorite person: You will pro-actively engage with the market to set up trade shows, submit abstracts for presentations at scientific conference, arrange handson AFM training workshops and visit customers. The position requires strong autonomous drive to task completion, often with limited resources. While everyone at Nanosurf is very helpful, time is a scarce commodity.
