GVD is a US-based company, spun out of MIT, that specializes in vapor-deposited polymer coatings. They use a unique initiated chemical vapor deposition (iCVD) process to apply ultra-thin, functional coatings that provide properties like hydrophobicity and oleophobicity, and also offer coating services.
