Dr. Tetsuo Ohara co-founded NanoWave in 1995, and has been the driving force behind the development of NanoWave SPPE technology, an effort that began at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Tetsuo's doctoral work at MIT was dedicated to proving the theoretical feasibility of a subnanometer precision position measurement method. Prior to MIT, Tetsuo headed the Advanced Research & Engineering Group at the Kodak Japan Research and Development Center in Yokohama, Japan. Tetsuo was the 1992 recipient of Kodak's prestigious C.E.K. Mees Award for "excellence in technical innovation and reporting in response to business needs".
