The project is called O*NET (Occupational Information Network) and it has detailed descriptions of the world of work for use by job seekers, workforce development and HR professionals, students, developers and researchers. O*NET is America’s primary source of occupational information and available as a public resource.
We are gathering data to update the classification of Nanotechnology Engineering Technologists and Technicians:
Nanotechnology Engineering Technologists and Technicians - Implement production processes and operate commercial-scale production equipment to produce, test, or modify materials, devices, or systems of unique molecular or macromolecular composition. Operate advanced microscopy equipment to manipulate nanoscale objects. Work under the supervision of nanoengineering staff.
