The Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano) is part of the Brazilian National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), a research center supervised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).

LNNano seeks excellence in the four areas of activity that constitute the mission of CNPEM: to provide open facilities for users from the entire scientific community; to be effective in frontier research; to promote technological innovation in the productive sector and to disseminate knowledge through events and training.

LNNano continues to grow and overcome each new challenge, acting as a leading player in Nanoscience, Technology and Innovation for sustainable development.
