KIST is concentrating its research capability to making sure research outcomes will translate into greater competitiveness for Korean businesses. We believe that science and technology will become the foundation in firmly establishing a creative economy. Given that KIST was born out of international development aids, we believe it is timely to return the favor by disseminating the KIST model, a science-based official development assistance (ODA), thereby contributing to the betterment of the global community while enhancing Korea's status in the world.
