The first Generation of IBF 200 was presented at the Laser World of Photonics in Munich in May 2013 including some unique features. For the first time IBF-, IBE- and Ion Beam Smoothing can be realised in one plant. This multitalent is preferably interesting for institutes and R&D-departements. The plant is designed for optical components with a diameter of 200mm max. and is avaialable as three axis and five axis version. In 2016 the second Generation of IBF 200 was launched. This type is mainly for industrial use, the focus was placed on short cycle times and loading and unloading. IBE and smoothing is not included by default.
