This course provides practical guidance on analyzing biopharmaceutical materials using SAXS. Participants learn data collection and data analysis best practices, sample preparation, data optimization, modeling, and interpretation. Through real-world case studies and hands-on sessions, the course covers assessing size, shape, aggregation, lamellarity, conformational changes, and integrating SAXS into broader biophysical workflows. Topics covered include: - Data collection best practices - Sample preparation - Setup and configuration of BioCUBE accessory (optional) - Experiment design and data capture - Data quality assessment - Proteins, peptides and nucleic acid modeling - Lipid system modeling - Model validation - Quality Control - Reporting Duration: 2-3 days including data collection and data analysis Audience: Participants should have a basic understanding of SAXS principles and instruments, and a good knowledge of biomaterial structures.
