Founded in 2016, Graphite Innovation & Technologies (GIT) Inc. is a private Canadian research and development company producing high quality graphene. GIT manufacture and sell graphene nanoplatelets and develop advanced engineered materials customized for specific applications and technologies.
GIT is a startup established at Dalhousie university by a group of material science engineers. A dedicated team that provides superior engineering, product development and research to support leading edge applications for graphene nanoplatelets and nanomaterials.
Fraunhofer IPMS

The Fraunhofer IPMS is one of 72 institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the leading organization for applied research in Germany, and also in Europe. It is devoted to research of practical utility. Relying on 26,000 employees, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft has a research budget of 2.6 billion euros. Two thirds of this sum are generated through industrial commissions and publicly financed research projects. The remainder is contributed by the Federal Government and the Länder as basic funding.
The Fraunhofer IPMS is part of the Fraunhofer Group Microelectronics (german abbreviation: VµE), and is engaged in various regional and international networks in the filed microsystems and photonics.
Colloidal Metrics Corporation

Colloidal Metrics was formed to provide the characterization field with advanced size and concentration standards that address frequently encountered problems with inter-instrument and inter-laboratory comparability. Initial work was completed in collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to synthesize a line of novel ultra mono-disperse polystyrene-latex (PSL) nano spheres. CMC Microsystems develops, maintains and manages Canada's National Design Network® (CNDN), giving researchers access to the world’s best design tools, manufacturing technologies, and engineering support for making micro-nanotechnologies, and for training industry-ready graduates.
CNDN involves stakeholders in academe, industry, government and intermediary organizations (other not-for profits) across Canada, and internationally. In the last five years, 1300 professors including 800 services subscribers and 8200 graduate students in 63 academic institutions have participated as have the 950 companies in Canada collaborating with professors or hiring graduates.
