Ho Chi Minh City, 22 October 2026. Quanova, a Vietnamese quantum technology company, has selected Quandela's MosaiQ quantum computer as the foundation of a new quantum research, innovation, service and entrepreneurship (quantum-RISE) program at Quang Trung University (QTU) in Quy Nhơn, Gia Lai. The project is described as the first France–Vietnam collaboration in quantum computing and will lead to the deployment of Vietnam's first quantum computer, with the support of Nam A Bank.
The selection follows a strategic partnership agreement signed by the two companies in Paris during the Vietnam–France Leaders Forum, in the presence of Vietnamese General Secretary and President Tô Lâm and French President Emmanuel Macron. Under that agreement, Quanova acts as a strategic integrator for Quandela in the Vietnamese market, covering promotion, development and commercialisation of photonic quantum computing solutions.
The partnership and deployment project were announced in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of 21 October 2026, in the presence of representatives of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR). Nam A Bank is supporting the initiative as part of its commitment to advanced technologies.
Võ Hoàng Hải, Deputy CEO of Nam A Bank, said: "Nam A Bank invests in core technologies, including quantum technology, to help build high-tech capabilities in Vietnam through strong and effective cooperation with French organizations."
Beyond the installation of MosaiQ, the program includes a Quantum Innovator Residency Program for students, researchers, educators and technology innovators, along with faculty training, dedicated curricula and access to Quandela's software environment. Rossy Nguyen Hoang Hong Nhung, CEO of Quanova, said: "To co-create new technologies, we must first build trusted partnerships and train the next generation. That is why we are developing the Quantum Innovator Residency Program with Quandela, Quang Trung University and Nam A Bank."
Marine Xech-Gaspa, Director of Institutional Affairs & Public Policy at Quandela, said the announcement shows how quickly the partnership is translating into action. The two companies expect to announce further concrete steps in the coming months.

Xanadu Quantum Technologies Limited has received provisional approval for project funding worth up to USD $10 million under DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking Initiative. The one-year contract extension builds on the company's work in Stage B.

A joint team has created the first ultra-high-resolution stretchable quantum dot display that keeps its image sharp while stretching like skin. By chemically bonding quantum dots to an elastic polymer and stamping fine patterns via a new LIFT process, they reached 16,000 pixels per inch and 53,300 nits, far surpassing earlier stretchable devices, with stable operation at 65% elongation. The advance could accelerate commercial wearable displays and electronic skin.
