Our anti-tarnish systems are available in various forms: water- and solvent-based, but also as pastes. Our protection systems are effective against oxidation and sulfonation of silver, gold, bronze, brass surfaces and for almost all metals used in the jewellery industry. At the same time, our protection systems offer your product long-lasting, skin-friendly permanent protection. Our products are used in large industry, medium-sized goldsmiths as well as in small art, jewellery and fashion manufacturers and shops. Our portfolio of anti-tarnish systems is supplemented by specifically adapted and supplementary cleaning solutions and blackening agents for silver. Quality controls: - Our pronice aqua nano-silver tarnish protection is dermatologically tested – it was found to be “very good”. - The pronice med nano-silver tarnish protection shows no cytotoxicity and is therefore used in medical technology. - Routine and documented regular quality controls guarantee a consistently high production and product quality. pronice aqua – ultra-thin nano-silver tarnish and corrosion protection for industrial applications – Based on Smart Coating technology and using state-of-the-art nanoanalytics, the highly effective and successfully established pronice aqua silver tarnish protection was developed. Special attention was paid to optimizing the ultra-thin and invisible silver protection system for industrial series production. High protective effect (oxidative & mechanical) in combination with fast and simple process control distinguish pronice aqua. The product is available both as a concentrate and as a ready-to-use solution. Established fields of application: Jewellery manufacturers (industrial), electroplating, decorative and technical silver surfaces. pronice med – ultra-thin anti-tarnish and anti-corrosion protection for medical technology applications – The pronice med silver protection system is based on our successful and established pronice aqua system, but has been further developed and tested and certified especially for the medical technology sector. Fields of application: Silver surfaces and electrical contacts in the medical technology sector. pronice Spray – ultra-thin silver tarnish protection for private & small users – The ultra-thin “pronice spray” protection system has been specially optimised for small and private users. In combination with the “pronice cleaner” you get perfectly cleaned and protected silver surfaces. Fields of application: Gold- and silversmiths, small and private users, decorative silver surfaces. pronice Cleaner – chemical cleaning of silver surfaces – The pronice Cleaner cleans tarnished silver, gold and brass easily and effectively. The cleaning process does not use any highly toxic components (e.g. hydrocyanic acid), but rather restores the original shine of the metals. In combination with pronice Spray you get a perfectly cleaned and protected silver surface. Fields of application: Gold and silversmiths, museums, small and private users, decorative silver surfaces. pronice silver black – blackening agent for silver (anthracite) – pronice silver black produces anthracite-coloured oxide layers on silver surfaces. The colouring is chemically stable and inert. Since pronice silver black does not contain any free sulphur, there are no undesirable darkening or yellowing effects. The solution only works in direct contact, i.e. there is no contamination of other parts by evaporation. pronice silver black is compatible with our anti-tarnish systems. Fields of application: Jewellery manufacturers (industrial), electroplating shops, gold and silversmiths, small and private users, decorative silver surfaces. pronice ultra black – blackening agent for silver (deep black) – pronice ultra black in combination with pronice silver black produces deep black oxide layers on silver surfaces. The colouring is chemically stable and inert. Since pronice ultra black does not contain any free sulphur, there are no undesirable darkening or yellowing effects. The solution only works in direct contact, i.e. the contamination of other parts by evaporation is not given. pronice ultra black is compatible with our anti-tarnish systems: Jewellery manufacturers (industrial), electroplating shops, gold and silversmiths, small and private users, decorative silver surfaces. proGold+ – Ultra-thin finishing & oxidation protection for precious metals / alloys – The proGold+ finish is suitable for protecting a wide variety of precious metals and metal combinations used in the jewellery industry. Alloys such as pink gold or sterling silver, but also platinum, rhodium and palladium alloys are given an ultra-thin protective layer against mechanical and chemical stresses. Here, the optimization for industrial series production was carried out. Fast and simple process control is the hallmark of proGold+. It is available as a ready-to-use solution as well as a concentrate. Fields of application: Jewelry manufacturers (industrial), electroplating, decorative precious metal surfaces.

AFM probes for atomic force microscopy can be chemically, biologically and physically modified by us. Chemically and biologically modified AFM probes can be used to obtain additional information such as the chemical composition of the surface in addition to the usual information provided by an AFM. This is called Chemical Force Microscopy (CFM). You can select the appropriate AFM probes from our wide product range, depending on the chemical or biological composition of the hydrophilic or hydrophobic surface to be examined. If required, we are happy to advise and support you in the selection of the suitable AFM tip. We produce the customer-specific modified AFM probes according to your individual wishes. Measuring probes with tip radii of 7 nm – 500 nm and spring constants of 0.006 N/m – 40 N/m are available: Modification / Property / Area of application - CH3 hydrophobic for hydrophobic contrast in H2O - CF3 hydrophobic, polar very strong hydrophobic. For hydrophobic contrast in H2O - NH2 hydrophobic, hydrophilic charge, amino groups and acid groups can be detected - COOH hydrophobic, hydrophilic charge and acid groups can be detected - OH hydrogen bonds polar groups in particular OH groups via temporary hydrogen bonds in hexadecane can be detected - titan coating titan coating: Coat thickness 10 nm -500 nm - gold coating gold coating: Coat thickness 10 nm -500 nm The minimum order quantity is 5 probes per modification. Chemically sensitive electrodes are supplied in gel packs in air or inert gas or in a special holder in ethanol. Thus the shelf life of the chemically modified electrodes is several months if stored carefully.
