Training is required for access to all instruments. Training fees are flat fees charged per user. Most training and required practice sessions for routine operation may be completed in 2 to 5 hours, although occasionally more time may be necessary. Practice sessions are charged applicable instrument time. Advanced technique training may be requested after standard training is completed. Refresher training sessions may be required if a user has not used a tool for several months, especially if they do not immediately start using a tool after initial training. Refresher trainings are generally charged as one or two hours of Staff Instrument Training time as appropriate and in addition to applicable instrument time and consumables.
