Understand the chemistry principles of electrolytes modeling On-demand online training now available The OLI Studio: Stream Analyzer course is designed to train attendees on how to use OLI software and its underlying chemistry principles. By the end of the course, participants will be able to build their own streams and interpret the data presented in reports and plots. OLI ONLINE TRAINING What to expect from the training course This course teaches electrolyte chemistry concepts and simulation techniques. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to apply the OLI thermodynamic frameworks, run calculations, and interpret key water chemistry results like alkalinity and pH. WHO SHOULD ATTEND The course is designed for beginners and prospective OLI clients The class is designed for participants with little or no knowledge of OLI simulation techniques. Intermediate level clients wanting to refresh their skills may also join this class. WHAT IS COVERED DURING THE COURSE Course Objectives By the end of this course, learners will be able to: Navigate the OLI Studio Interface Understand the software layout and access key tools for stream analysis. Apply Thermodynamic Frameworks Identify and select appropriate OLI thermodynamic frameworks (e.g., AQ, MSE) for different systems. Define Chemical Streams Enter species and configure stream compositions. Run Single Point Calculations Perform and interpret key calculations such as Set pH, Isothermal, and Precipitation Point calculations. Use Custom User Databases Manage user-defined chemistry for specialized applications. Perform Survey Calculations Set up parametric studies to evaluate system behavior across variable conditions such as temperature and pH. Perform Mixer Calculations Analyze outcomes from combining multiple streams, including phase behavior and pH. Reconcile Water Analyses Enter ionic species, interpret water chemistry results, and adjust components to match laboratory data.
