The TSMC CyberShuttle® prototyping service significantly reduces non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs across the broadest technology range (from 0.5μm to A14), with the most frequent launch schedule (up to 10 shuttles per month), all through a convenient online registration system. Since its inception in 1998, CyberShuttle® has delivered hundreds of multi-project wafers, encompassing thousands of devices. New design prototyping costs have risen with semiconductor technology advances, creating an access barrier to next-generation technologies. CyberShuttle® services overcome this barrier by enabling multiple designs to share tooling costs through a multi-project mask set.
