Factory Outlet Product Warranty Clarification & Terms of Sale The following terms apply to products purchased through Aerotech's Factory Outlet website and are in addition to Aerotech's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Product Condition Products offered on the Factory Outlet website are either brand new or previously used. Previously used products are listed with their condition (Excellent, Good, or Fair). All products undergo full functional testing prior to listing and meet Aerotech's quality standards. All Outlet products are sold "as is." Drive Electronics Firmware Version All legacy drive amplifiers and controllers (A3200 NDrives, Ensemble, Soloist) are shipped with the latest released firmware version. Buyers may update to any firmware version 4.x or later using their existing software. Upon request, Aerotech can preload a specific firmware version for an additional fee of $750 per unit, added to the listed price. Firmware versions earlier than 4.x must be preloaded prior to shipment to ensure proper operation. Limited Warranty Coverage Outlet products are covered by a Limited Warranty that applies only to product quality issues resulting from defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty Duration - Brand new products are covered by Aerotech's standard 1-year warranty policy. - Previously used products are covered by a forty-five (45) day warranty, effective from the shipment date from Aerotech’s facility. Exclusions This Limited Warranty does not cover cosmetic defects, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, accidents, modifications, improper installation, or any issues not related to the manufacturing quality of the product’s internal components or assembly. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE: The following terms apply to all transactions through the Aerotech Outlet website: Product Availability Outlet products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability is not guaranteed until Aerotech has acknowledged your order. Order Acknowledgment and Cancellation Once an order is acknowledged by Aerotech, it is final and may not be cancelled by the buyer. Pricing and Shipping Costs Product pricing does not include shipping, handling, duties, or taxes. All such charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Shipping Terms All products are shipped EX-Works (EXW) from Aerotech's factory location (per Incoterms 2020). Shipping Method Options - Prepay and Add (default): Aerotech prepays shipping charges, which are added as a separate line item on the buyer's invoice. - Collect Account: Shipments are made using the buyer’s designated third-party carrier account. Transfer of Risk Under EX-Works terms, all risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer once the product is made available for pickup at Aerotech's factory. Limitation of Liability By completing a purchase through the Aerotech Factory Outlet, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions stated above.
