Myfab, Sweden's national research infrastructure for micro- and nanofabrication, will use the funds during 2026–2027 to prepare for future clusters in quantum technology, semiconductors, and life science. Planned upgrades include advanced solutions for material design, 3D microfabrication, precise semiconductor growth monitoring, and technologies for heterogeneous integration and chip packaging. These improvements will also benefit other research fields and user groups. This initiative complements Myfab's ongoing operations grant and will be implemented in close collaboration with researchers planning excellence cluster applications, ensuring access to state-of-the-art instruments, processes, and expert support.
