14 October 2026. Anderon announced the availability of its first Superconducting Quantum Process Design Kit (PDK). The PDK is designed to support a more efficient and standardized approach to quantum device and circuit development.
The PDK provides designers with the foundational building blocks needed to create manufacturable designs on Anderon's advanced 300mm wafer fabrication platform. It supports Anderon's full portfolio of 300mm wafer offerings.
The PDK also includes Anderon's reference design for baseline coherence validation, as well as electromagnetic parameters for comprehensive simulation.
Anderon said the PDK helps bridge the gap between device innovation and scalable manufacturing, enabling developers to bring quantum designs to fabrication more efficiently. The company said early access to its first-generation PDK represents an important milestone in its commitment to building the infrastructure necessary for the next era of superconducting quantum computing.
Access to the PDK is available through a license agreement. Anderon directed inquiries to its sales team.

Google researchers reduced errors in magic states by about 40-fold, demonstrating magic-state cultivation on the Willow processor. The team reported T-states with a logical fidelity of 99.99%.
NTT DOCOMO has expanded production use of D-Wave quantum technology to a second hybrid-quantum application that minimizes paging and location-registration signals together. Across a 333 base station segment, location-registration signals fell 65.3% and paging signals 7%.

Quantum effects already underpin everyday devices such as transistors, lasers and MRI scanners, yet their full potential remains untapped. Researchers are engineering two-dimensional materials and quantum spin liquids to serve as building blocks for topological quantum computing and more stable qubits, combining theoretical modelling with material fabrication. Other efforts use quantum sensors to probe dark matter and read superconducting qubit data without disturbing it.
