FiberDrive, a module without the thermal stability electronics & the TEC. the FiberDrive, a compact module without TEC thermal stabilization electronics. Integrated LD Driver Electronics FiberDrive can be ordered with collimation or FFC options FiberDrive power Stability (1hr) % 1.0 T +/- 3 oC, all laser wavelengths FiberDrive Power Stability (24hr) % 3 T +/- 3 oC, All wavelengths, 24 hrs FDRV = single wavelength laser w/control, drive circuits, no TEC FiberTec and FiberDrive Modules come standard with 1-meter fiber pigtail.
The FiberTec family from Necsel provides high-performance single-wavelength fiber-coupled laser modules for OEM instrumentation, industrial systems, biomedical devices, and analytical applications. Available wavelengths range from 405 nm to 980 nm, including violet, blue, green, red, and infrared laser options. Each FiberTec module integrates a precision laser source, advanced fiber-coupling optics, and onboard control electronics within a compact OEM package. Standard features include laser drive current control, temperature stabilization, ESD protection, modulation capability, shutdown control, current monitoring, and overdrive protection. Modules are available with either a 16-pin interface or wire-lead configuration for flexible system integration. All electronics are RoHS 3 compliant. FiberTec, a complete laser system with control, stability and monitoring circuits. FiberTec and FiberDrive Modules come standard with 1-meter fiber pigtail. FiberTec module and FFC combination will provide a stabilized optical output of < 0.5% (after 10 min warm-up) and high polarization extinction ratio 23dB. For optimal spectral and optical power performance of the FiberTec module, ACC operation is recommended. ACC (automatic current control): Laser Diode driving current is detected and feedback to control circuit. An error signal is generated to lock the LD current to preset value or user specified setting. This is the preferred mode of operation for the FiberTec module. APC (automatic power control): Laser power is detected via a back facet monitor inside the laser diode housing (TO can). An error signal is generated to adjust LD current to lock power to preset value or user specified setting. Customers can choose one from two options of electrical connection for FiberTec operation: 16 Pin or 8 wire ribbon. The most advanced interface (16 Pin) uses two rows of 8 pins on the bottom of the unit. You can remotely access all functions available in the FiberTec /FiberDrive. FiberTec and FiberDrive modules come with 1 meter connectorized fiber pigtail output as standard. Fiber Jacketing options include a 900 m PVC jacket with a bend radius of 13mm or an 3mm Armored metal jacket with Bend radius of 30mm. The cylindrical collimator is a miniature lens enclosure secured to the fiber pigtail's connector and houses an aspheric or doublet lens which provides a specific collimated beam diameter and divergence. Both the Fiber Feedback and Cylindrical collimator options have the same beam size and divergence specifications (e.g. M, N, P, Q). Collimated beam specifications must be specified at time of purchase. A cylindrical collimator option is available for the FiberTec; the collimator is a miniature lens enclosure secured to the fiber pigtail's connector and houses an aspheric or doublet lens which provides a specific collimated beam diameter and divergence. The collimator does not affect beam quality or Polarization Extinction Ratio (PER). Beam size specifications must be specified at time of purchase. Focus optics are available as an option. the FiberTec + FFC, which combines the FiberTec module with an active feedback collimation unit for enhanced power stability and beam collimation. The FFC is a combination of an aspheric/doublet lens collimator and an active laser power feedback system.
