Hot-embossing stamps

Master with a thickness range 0.5 - 3mm are being used on hot-embossing machines. Preferably called "stamp" The stamp is being screwed tightly to either heated base plate. An excellent physical contact between hotplate and stamp is vital to ensure proper thermal coupling. - Hot-embossing stamp with sub-micro features and antisticking coating - Hot-embossing stamps (front- and backside) with sub-micro features and antisticking coating. - Hot-embossing stamps (frontside) with sub-micro features and antisticking coating. - Hot-embossing stamps (front and backside) with sub-micro features and antisticking coating - Mounting features and recess to fit EVG-machine - Hot-embossing stamp with various test features - Hot-embossing stamp with sub-micron feature arrays - SEM-image of sub-micrometer pattern on Nickel-stamp - Hot-embossing stamp with 200nm feature size arrays (PHABLE) - AFM plot on nanopatterned Nickel-stamp - SEM-image of 70nm dot-array on a Nickel-stamp (SEM courtesy of Eulitha AG) - Set of hot-embossing stamps fully covered with cylindric lenses - Hot-embossing stamp with regular grating pattern to fit Jenoptik-HEX machine - Surface-scan (White-light interferometry) of Ni/steel-hybrid injection mold. - Contact-angle analysis after surface-treatment with anti-sticking coating on Ni-stamp. - Hot-embossing stamp with complex microfluidic layout - Hot-embossing stamp with cylindrical lens-arrays - SEM-image of photoresist-feature with drafted sidewalls (Height = 250µm) - SEM-image of photoresist-pattern with drafted sidewalls - SEM-image of USAF test-pattern (photoresist) with vertical sidewalls

Flexible Nickel-shims

Flexible Nickel-shims with a thickness range 0.25 – 0.5mm. They are mainly used on roller-embossing equipment where the highly flexible Ni-shim is mounted on a rotating cylinder. Reel-to-reel embossing of nanopattern (holograms, anti-counterfeiting, micro-optics or security features) are the main applications. - Roller-embossing shims, patterned frontside and grinded backside - Inspection of retroreflector-pattern at 200x: protruding pyramids - Inspection of retroreflector-pattern at 200x: recessed pyramids

High-definition micropatterned endoscopic components

Our high-definition micropatterned endoscopic components are made using the very versatile UV-LiGA process with photoresist features defining an inverted shape of the final part-geometry. These microparts need to have vertical sidewalls in order to function mechanically. Material: Nickel-Phos12 (580HV), stainless, optional PVD-coatings Applications: Robust micromechanical parts for endoscopic use.

PDMS-stamps / Soft-tools (soft-stamps)

Soft-tools or soft-stamps are basically flexible PDMS-stamps casted from a patterned substrate. The pattern thus is inverted and mirrored with respect to the original. Soft tools are primarily used for hot-embossing small lot sizes; as needed for research purposes. Application: nano- and microoptics, microfluidics. PDMS-stamp (silicone) for soft-embossing.
