The magnetic properties of these nanodot arrays were characterized using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and magnetic force microscopy (MFM). Such stringent requirements of high resolution and high sensitivity in characterization techniques are fulfilled only by Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) and Magnetic Force Microscopy (MFM). It is interesting to note that the magnetic properties of nanodots have a strong dependence on size, shape, and inter-particle separation. The dipolar interactions and magnetic anisotropy in nanodots are affected by dot size and shape. Also, the magnetic behavior of nanodots is significantly influenced by the presence of a non-magnetic matrix. - Frequency Range: DC to 10 MHz - Field Range: ±3 T - Magnetic Moment Sensitivity: 10^-6 emu - Temperature Range: 2 K to 1000 K - Sample Size: up to 5 mm x 5 mm - Spatial Resolution: < 50 nm - Magnetic Field Resolution: < 1 Oe - Cantilever Type: Si, SiN, and magnetic coated probes

RAR Nano-Textured Optics

TelAztec optics are made from certified Corning fused silica—traceable, high-purity materials chosen for performance and reliability. The three material types (7980, 7979, and 8655) that our optics use are suited to specific wavelength ranges and laser power requirements. TelAztec manufactures RAR nano-textured optics using three types of Corning fused silica materials: 7980, 7979, and 8655. Corning 7980 (UV-FS) is a high-quality, general-purpose material covering ultraviolet (UV) through near-infrared (NIR) applications, offering excellent transmission and homogeneity. Corning 7979 (IR-FS) is optimized for NIR use, with low bulk absorption and strong transmission at longer wavelengths above 2000 nanometers (2 µm). Corning 8655 (UV/IR-FS) provides ultra-low absorption across the UV to NIR range and is the highest-performance option, combining the benefits of both 7980 and 7979 at a higher cost. Corning fused silica is defined by a two-part grade: a number for bubble content and a letter for optical uniformity. Grade 0 materials are virtually bubble-free and ideal for high-power laser applications. The letter grade ranges from A to H, with Grade A providing the highest optical uniformity and Grade F allowing slight, often imperceptible variations. UV lasers benefit most from Grade 0A materials, while NIR applications perform equally well with Grade 0A or 0F. TelAztec optics use Grade 0A or Grade 0F. Grade 0A typically costs about 50% more than Grade 0F, and large optics are often made with Grade 0F due to the difficulty and cost of maintaining 0A quality at larger sizes. This tradeoff is practical, as UV systems rarely require large windows. We also offer Heraeus Suprasil 300 or 3001/3002 as an option for certain optics, in addition to standard material options. In short, Corning 7980 suits most UV–NIR applications, 7979 is preferred for NIR and long-wavelength infrared, and 8655 offers top performance across all wavelengths. TelAztec optics are built exclusively from certified Corning fused silica to ensure maximum performance, traceability, and reliability. Read the PDF below for more data directly from Corning.
