Automates adjustment of focus, astigmatism, and misalignment. TEM AutoTune™ software greatly simplifies the tasks of tuning a transmission electron microscope (TEM). This fully automated software features automatic adjustment of critical microscope parameters for TEM imaging, such as focus, astigmatism, and misalignment. This autotuning software is based on tilt-induced image shift (TIS) method. Values of defocus, astigmatism, and misalignment are determined from measurement of image shift vectors associated with different beam tilts. TEM AutoTune software is written as a standard plug-in to DigitalMicrograph® software and can be used with the Gatan family of CCD cameras. - Works for a wide range of magnifications and is robust against the noise of an image - Capable of aligning the microscope under low electron-dose conditions - Higher speed and better accuracy than a human operator's perception - No restriction for the type of specimens used, can be applied to both materials science and life science applications - Ideal and invaluable tool for both expert and novice users - Fully automated procedures - Sophisticated algorithm allows image shift to be measured with sub-pixel accuracy

Models 1124, 1125. The world’s first direct detection cameras to democratize cryo-EM. Alpine®is the world’s first direct detection camera series to democratize cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) imaging. By enabling the acquisition of high-resolution structures on 80 – 200 keV microscopes, the Alpine series allows routine cryo-EM research on more affordable, workhorse instruments and expands its usefulness to the larger research community. Two models available to match the field of view with your application needs: Alpine (1124) – Turns 80 – 200 keV screening microscopes into data-collection microscopes with single-electron counting capabilities. Delivers a detective quantum efficiency (DQE) up to 2.4-times the performance of scintillator-based cameras. Makes the 2D classification of small molecules possible while improving macromolecule reconstructions. Streamlines your workflow and detects failures early to produce better structures, faster. Real-time counting ensures there is no compromise between data collection speed and quality.
