Nano Silver

By Accelerated Materials

Compared to microparticles, nano silver reduces the sintering temperature which increases application flexibility and protects temperature sensitive components during manufacturing. AM's platform produces spherical, cubic-phase Ag in the 1–100 nm range, directly relevant to conductive inks/pastes and technically applicable to sinter formulations.

The AM K1 Pro

Continuous Flow Reactor for Automated Nanoparticle Synthesis The K1 Pro is a benchtop continuous flow reactor that produces nanomaterials in seconds. With four reagent lines, automated cleaning between runs, and AI-assisted optimisation, it lets R&D teams generate 10+ samples a day and scale the winning process to 100 kg/day without re-optimising. Why choose the K1 Pro for nanoparticle synthesis Conventional nanoparticle synthesis campaigns take years, with each experiment requiring hours to days in a laboratory. With the K1 system, users can: Four pumps, more ambitious chemistry Run reactions with more than two reagents, so nanoparticle syntheses that stall on simpler systems are within reach. In-line quenching and tip cleaning On two-reagent reactions, the spare pumps quench the product stream and clean the reactor tip automatically, preventing fouling between runs. Automatic cleaning and rinsing between reactions Automated selector valves prime, rinse and flush the system between every run, removing manual steps. Automatic reagent switching during optimisation The valves swap reagents mid-campaign, so solvents can run unattended rather than needing an operator at the bench. In-line, adjustable dilution Four pumps dilute reagents in line, permitting autonomous concentration optimisation. What’s included Your K1 Pro with chosen reactor configuration: 1 year of customer service including remote installation, training and troubleshooting, 1 year equipment warranty, 1-year AMLearn subscription. Annular Microreactor

The annular microreactor uses a unique, high-velocity gas and liquid flow to synthesize nanoparticles. It forces liquids into a thin film with high shear force, providing exceptional mixing and control over nanoparticle properties. By controlling nanoscale phenomena of hydrodynamic assembly, this reactor enables users to precisely manipulate particle size and shape just by flowrate control. This approach also prevents clogging, allowing for continuous and scalable production, unlike costly and inconsistent batch methods. This core technology is a key component of the Accelerated Materials platform for faster materials discovery and process scaleability. The Annular Microreactor is a key component of AM's K-series reactors. Benefits: - Enhanced Control: The system offers superior control over nanoparticle characteristics compared to traditional batch methods. - Reproducibility: The precise flow conditions ensure consistent and reproducible results, which is critical for demanding applications. - Compact: Compared to conventional batch techniques, annular microreactors are up to 100x more space efficient, requiring a fraction of the volume needed, saving users precious lab and production space. - Scalability: The technology is designed for scaling up production by "numbering up", multiplying reactors rather than increasing their individual size. This is managed by a passive self-regulating distributor that ensures consistent flow across multiple units. - High-solids Compatibility: It can process high solids-content, viscous mixtures, a limitation for many other microfluidic systems.
