The SureLock™ OEM Laser Module is designed for direct integration into Raman spectroscopy systems, providing system builders with a low‑cost, wavelength‑stabilized excitation source that delivers consistent optical performance without the complexity of external laser controllers or stabilization electronics. The module combines high output power, narrow spectral bandwidth, and excellent wavelength stability in a compact OEM form factor. This allows Raman instrument manufacturers to achieve repeatable spectral performance across systems while minimizing development time, calibration effort, and total system cost. SureLock™ technology uses a PowerLocker® Volume Holographic Grating (VHG) to lock the laser wavelength, resulting in: - Typ <0.01 nm wavelength variation over temperature - Narrow linewidth (<0.15 nm FWHM) - Stable performance from 0–100% output power Standard OEM Raman wavelengths include: - 638 nm - 785 nm - 830 nm - 1064 nm Custom wavelengths and tighter tolerances can be supported for specialized Raman applications. Depending on wavelength, the OEM module delivers up to: - 500 mW at 638 nm - Up to 600 mW at 785 nm, 830 nm, and 1064 nm The SureLock™ OEM module reduces overall system cost by: - Integrating laser diode, TEC control, and drive electronics in one module - Eliminating the need for external wavelength lockers or controllers - Providing factory‑set optical and electrical parameters for repeatability The module supports simple OEM electrical interfaces, including: - 5 V DC power input - Analog voltage control for laser current (power adjustment) - TTL on/off control - Interlock pins with built‑in emission delay - Laser emission indicator output Optical output power is controlled via an analog voltage input, with factory‑defined minimum and maximum current setpoints. This allows: - Optimization for different sample types - Repeatable power settings across instruments Standard configurations include: - Fiber‑coupled output (105 µm core, 0.22 NA, FC/PC connector) - Free‑space output options for custom optical layouts The OEM module is intended to be: - Mounted to a heat sink or base plate - Installed in a non‑condensing laboratory or instrument environment SureLock™ OEM lasers are factory‑aligned and wavelength‑locked using specially binned gratings, providing: - Excellent unit‑to‑unit wavelength consistency - Repeatable output power characteristics - Reduced need for per‑system wavelength calibration The SureLock™ OEM Laser Module is intended solely as a component within an OEM system and does not meet CDRH requirements when operated standalone. Regulatory compliance is the responsibility of the finished Raman instrument.

ORCA is a THz-Raman™ crystallinity meter that uses a scanning laser beam to detect and identify low concentrations of specific polymorphs of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) within complex mixtures. By probing low-frequency lattice vibrations that are highly sensitive to crystal structure, ORCA enables reliable detection of targeted polymorphic forms even at very low concentrations. This rapid, non-destructive technique requires little to no sample preparation and provides a powerful complement to PXRD for solid-form characterization. ORCA supports polymorph screening, crystallinity analysis, and pharmaceutical quality control, enabling fast identification of crystalline phases directly within heterogeneous samples.

WALDO builds on the WPS high-throughput THz-Raman™ screening platform by adding flexible measurement geometries for a wider range of microplate formats. WALDO supports laser scanning through transparent well plates as well as top-down excitation for opaque plates, including stainless steel and Kapton plates commonly used for PXRD experiments. This dual-mode capability allows researchers to perform rapid polymorph screening and crystallinity analysis across different sample holders while leveraging the sensitivity of low-frequency THz-Raman™ spectroscopy to probe crystal lattice structure and molecular composition.

SureLock™ wavelength-stabilized laser diodes and modules incorporate our ultra-narrowband VBGs, forming an external cavity using TruSet to precisely lock the laser’s wavelength to the needs of the application. This enhances spectral brightness and optical performance stability across the entire power range and extended temperature conditions. The extremely short external cavity offers superior mode selection and a smaller footprint than Littrow or Littman cavity designs while reducing the spectral bandwidth of a typical laser by an order of magnitude. With fast warm-up times, flexible power options, and consistent performance, these lasers are ideal for demanding applications such as analytical instruments. Available as modules or components, SureLock® lasers offer flexibility for seamless development and system integration. Applications - Raman spectroscopy - Holography - HeNe replacement - Particle characterization - Analytical instrumentation - Speckle interferometry - Metrology and inspection
