Talga graphite-based battery anode materials

By Talga Group

Our anode materials – the greenest in the world – serve to both lower the carbon footprint of batteries in portable electronic devices, but also enhance their power properties. Talga’s graphite-based battery anodes are the greenest in the world measured by carbon intensity. As one half of a lithium-ion battery, green anodes can dramatically reduce the CO 2 emissions

More from Talga Group

Talphene™ Graphene Additives

Talga’s Talphene™ range of graphene products include nanoplatelets to few-layer graphene produced in both dispersion and powder form. These flakes have extremely high surface areas and use Talga’s functionalisation technology and proprietary low cost, highly scalable manufacturing methods to match customer material goals.

Talnode™-C Power & EV Series

Talnode™-C is made from our unique Swedish high-grade natural graphite and proprietary coating processes to offer industry-leading low emission active anode. Talnode™-C can be tuned for high-rate applications or as a blended product using our 100% vertical integration control, and is characterised by low ohmic resistance and low swelling, providing outstanding fast charge and low temperature performance for battery electric vehicles, hybrids and consumer electronics.

Talnode™-R Series

Talga’s recycled graphite anode made from repurposed production scrap or black mass. Produced in Europe in a proprietary process, Talnode™-R Series aims to improve circularity by reintroducing spent graphite anode in new lithium-ion battery production. This will help increase European self-reliance, reduce landfilling or burning of waste battery materials and decrease greenhouse gas emissions associated with synthetic graphite’s fossil fuel precursors.

Talphite™

Talphite™is a high purity micro-graphite produced using Talga’s unique Swedish natural graphite and proprietary concentration process. It is a dry powder consisting of agglomerates of graphene flakes and graphene nanoplatelets, and can be used in battery anode and cathode products or as a pre-cursor to make graphene.
