Modumetal’s NanoPlex® technology is a development-stage nickel-alloy nanolaminate system, originally engineered to protect industrial tubulars and couplings in Oil & Gas service. Applied to carbon steel substrates, NanoPlex® is being developed as a cost-effective alternative to stainless and other high-alloy steels in demanding wear and corrosion environments. Its potential now extends well beyond Oil & Gas, to heavy industry, chemical processing, and emerging energy applications, including hydrogen production equipment.
