To be used when working with bases. We have metal and plastic benches. Except with explicit permission, organic solvents are not allowed on the plastic benches because they will dissolve the working surfaces. Acids and Bases are not allowed on metal benches. You are responsible for understanding the specific requirements and chemical restrictions for each bench.
