The Institute for Matter and Systems (IMS) is an evolution of the Institute for Electronics and Nanotechnology and the Institute for Materials. It supports research in nanoscale science, materials, processes, and devices, and their incorporation into systems that solve complex scientific, technological, and societal grand challenges.
