The lab is equipped with a Film Sense FS-1 four-color ellipsometer. This is excellent for making rapid measurements on dielectric films on substrates up to 8” in size. Ellipsometry provides film thickness and optical constants data, as well as film thickness uniformity (mapping) across the substrate.
