Cardiovascular disease

By Minerva Imaging

We have a strong focus on imaging of pathophysiology in cardiovascular diseases. Using relevant animals models of cardiovascular disease and longitudinal study designs we can follow therapeutic interventions by non-invasive imaging. Studies can be designed to take advantage of in-depth capabilities of microsurgery to establish e.g. myocardial infarction and ischemia-reperfusion models in rodents and larger species. Also, we have a long track record of using PET/CT imaging to monitor vascular inflammation in atherosclerosis. Capabilities: Myocardial infarction models Ischemia-reperfusion models Atherosclerosis models Perfusion imaging PET/CT, SPECT/CT and MRI Cardiac function, ejection fraction by MRI and SPECT/CT Imaging of vascular inflammation by PET/CT Ex vivo quantification of disease
