The Center for Applied Quantum Computing (ZAQC) at Fraunhofer IGD in Darmstadt works with partners from research and industry to investigate how quantum computing can be put to use in concrete applications. Its focus is on quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms, particularly for challenges in chemistry and pharmaceuticals. The goal is to identify and assess promising applications at an early stage and prepare their transfer into practice.
