The J-1500 model allows for the measurement of a CD spectrum in the vacuum UV region at 163 nm. As standard, its PMT detector allows measurement up to 900 nm; however, the addition of an optional second InGaAs detector allows for measurements with the highest sensitivity up to 1,600 nm. The Quad amplifier lock-in system allows for the simultaneous acquisition of up to four data channels including circular dichroism (CD), absorbance, linear dichroism (LD), fluorescence, fluorescence-detected circular dichroism (FDCD), fluorescence-detected linear dichroism (FDLD), fluorescence anisotropy, and optical rotary dispersion (ORD). This service is available both as self-service and with the possibility of samples being processed by the service managers.
