Establish the process for the safe and effective conduct of automated solution-shearing thin films. The purpose of the solution-shearing is to produce layers of material, typically polymers, on flat substrates. This procedure addresses the actions required for solution handling, preparation of substrates, automated equipment setup, the shearing itself, and the final cleanup. The purpose of the solution-shearing station is to produce layers of materials on flat substrate by shearing blade.
