AIMR provides pre-award support through the Research Promotion Section, International Research Coordinators, and the Director of the Research Support Division to help faculty obtain funding for their research. We provide comprehensive support matched to the needs of individual researchers and labs to help them obtain research funding. Our services include: - Identifying external funding opportunities and confirming eligibility requirements - Giving advice on individual applications including information on research funding according to the career stage, affiliation, and research content - Offering pre-award seminars to obtain KAKENHI (Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research) - Creating networking opportunities with successful applicants - Providing other services such as application editing and support throughout the application process
