Sample Surface Analysis, GISAXS, GIWAXS and Reflectometry

By Xenocs

This training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize Grazing Incidence Small/Wide Angle X-ray Scattering (GISAXS/GIWAXS) in their research or industrial applications. Topics covered include: - Introduction to the principles and fundamentals of GISAXS and GIWAXS. - Sample preparation considerations for GISAXS and GIWAXS experiments. - Strategies for designing effective GISAXS and GIWAXS experiments. - Presentation of Xenocs GISAXS standard and advanced stages. - Sample loading and alignment procedures for grazing-incidence experiments. - Data collection procedures for GISAXS and GIWAXS. - GISAXS and GIWAXS data analysis techniques. - Reflectometry: data collection and analysis. Duration: 2 days, including presentation, GISAXS/GIWAXS measurement and analysis, XRR measurement and analysis Audience: Participants should have a basic understanding of SAXS principles and instruments.
