Electrospun Poly(ethylene terephthalate) Nanofibrous Patches Loaded with Asiaticoside for the Treatment of Myocardial Infarction in Rats

This paper reports on the development of a cardiac patch made from electrospun PET nanofibers loaded with Asiaticoside. The patch is designed to treat myocardial infarction and is shown to improve cardiac function in a rat model.
