The KKDIK Regulation requires companies to pre-register chemicals using the ministry's IT tool by the end of 2020 and sets a registration deadline of 2023. The ministry has recently secured €1.6m from the EU for the second-stage implementation of KKDIK. The funds are expected to be used partly in upgrading the KKS software to match the current version of the IT platform operating in the EU.
