Reno, 5 October 2026. NevadaNano announced that Emerson (NYSE: EMR) has integrated NevadaNano's Molecular Property Spectrometer (MPS) 6.0 technology into the Rosemount 628MP Combustible Gas Sensor for use with the Rosemount 928 Wireless Gas Monitor.

MPS 6.0 consumes 1.35 mW of power and is designed for battery-powered gas detection systems. The technology detects hydrocarbons and hydrogen, classifies the gas present and applies the appropriate response to provide lower explosive limit measurements across a range of flammable gases. It requires no field calibration and resists poisoning and saturation.

Built-in self-testing verifies sensor operation, and environmental compensation supports performance across temperature, humidity and pressure changes. The MPS 6.0 sensor is designed for a 15-year operating life. Emerson specifies a sensor life of more than 10 years for the completed Rosemount 628MP.

"Emerson has built its reputation by delivering dependable technologies that customers trust in critical industrial environments," said Ian Rogoff, CEO of NevadaNano. "The integration of MPS 6.0 technology into the Rosemount wireless gas monitoring platform is an important validation of the quality, reliability and performance of our technology."

Under the agreement, Emerson has exclusive use of the MPS 6.0 Flammable Gas Sensor for industrial fixed gas detection applications requiring Zone 0 intrinsic safety certification. Emerson's investment in NevadaNano was made through Emerson Ventures.
