Tekna receives titanium powder orders worth CAD 1.64 million from medical distributor

Arendal, 20 October 2026. Tekna Holding ASA announced that its Materials business area has received orders totalling CAD 1.64 million for titanium metal powder. The orders were placed by an established distributor serving medical device manufacturers globally.

The orders are expected to be delivered throughout 2027. They are for Ti64 titanium alloy powder in the particle size range for laser powder bed fusion (LPBF), an additive manufacturing process used to build complex, high-precision parts.

The orders will be included in the Company's order intake for the fourth quarter of 2026. Tekna will publish its interim report for the third quarter on November 5, 2026.

"These orders reflect the strength of our long-standing relationship with this distributor and support our continued efforts to expand our presence in the medical sector," said Tekna CEO Claude Jean.

Tekna's Materials business area recently renewed its ISO 13485:2016 certification for the design and manufacture of medical devices. Suppliers to the medical device industry are typically required to hold certified quality management systems.
