The Triboster TSf-503 is designed for computer-controlled analysis of the static and kinetic coefficient of friction (COF). The highly versatile device, with its linear reciprocating sample stage, can be used for all kinds of samples with different shapes because fixtures can be specially designed according to the sample. The TSf-503 features the unique patented crank-shaped biaxial balance technology for accurate and reliable measurements. TSf-503 is available with a standard normal load range of 100 to 1.000 g and an optional range of 200 to 2.000 g. Measurements with different loads, speeds, contact probe geometries, measurement methods, and options allow customers to set up the instruments to meet their special needs. Features - Biaxial balance technology: Minimizing the effects of inertia and other external forces on the load cell during the measurements ensures exact and reliable results. - Two-way-measurements: Measurement of the coefficients of friction in both directions of stage travel. - Automatic contact probe lift-up function: Measurement of the coefficients of friction in only one direction of stage travel. The contact probe is lifted automatically after one stroke to avoid contact with the sample when the stage returns. - Seven measuring routines: Various measuring routines are available to ensure optimal flexibility in determining specific characteristics of the samples. Available measuring routines are: - Standard repetition: Measuring the coefficients of friction repeatedly on the same measuring area in up to 12 cycles - Continuous static friction: Measuring up to 50 data of coefficients of static friction in one stroke by the stop-and-go movement of the stage - Repetition dependency: Measuring the coefficients of friction repeatedly on the same measuring area in 100 to 10.000 cycles - Multi-sample: Measuring the coefficients of friction for different samples or different areas for one sample for easy comparison - Load-dependency: Measuring the coefficients of friction depending on different normal loads - Speed-dependency: Measuring the coefficients of friction depending on different speeds - Time-interval dependency: Analyzing the influence of adhesion on the coefficients of friction depending on up to four different contact times in one way by use of the counterpart lift-up function and the stop-and-go movement of the stage

The portable contact angle meter PCA11 is a compact and lightweight device for fully automated on-site measurements of contact angle, surface tension and surface free energy of solids. Testing on-site for quality control and evaluation of surface wettability, which is characterized by the contact angle, is often required during manufacturing processes or in the field. The PCA-11 can be used on any material such as glass, metal, film, paper & pulp, polymer, wood, etc. that have to be measured on-site or that due to their size or shape cannot be analyzed with usual stationary contact angle measuring instruments. Weighing only 650g, combined with the single-click fully automated operation and its precise measurements, the PCA-11 is the ideal solution for non-destructive surface evaluations. Features - Single-click fully automated operation - Precise measurement of contact angles, even on slopes of up to 90 degrees - Analysis of surface free energy - Measurement of surface tension using the pendant drop method - Time-dependent measurements by image capture of up to 30 fps - 500 droplets with a volume of 1μl can be generated with one prepared syringe - Simple replacement of syringe and liquid sample via easily accessible front door - Visible needle tip allows precise capture of the target point - Droplet calibration standard for standard view, bearing one full circle for calibration and three droplet silhouettes of 5°, 60° and 108° for periodic inspection of measurement accuracy

The DY-500 and DY-700 share the same body design and only differ by the integrated weighing system, with the DY-700 offering 10 times the readability of the DY-500. Both are fully automatic, high-precision, and easy-to-use surface tensiometers for reliable measurements of dynamic contact angle and powder contact angle, in addition to measurements of surface and interfacial tension, lamella length, liquid and solid density, sedimentation behavior, and evaporation rate. Due to their accuracy and high versatility, both models are ideal for use in R&D as well as for reliable measurements for routine quality assurance. High-quality components and the durable design combined, with a video user manual integrated into the software, guarantee user-friendly operation of the instrument and software. Features - “One-click” fully automated operation - Jacket type sample stage with built-in stirrer function - Built-in temperature sensor - Connections to the sample chamber for inert gas - Pre-wetting function to eliminate measurement errors caused by unsuccessful wetting of Wilhelmy plate or du Noüy ring - Easy parameter setup to adapt various measuring standards - Video user manual for user-friendly operation - Adjustable level of the body - Calibration by an external weight for the DY-500 and by an internal calibration system for the DY-700
