The Research Support Division led by Dr. Gustavo Ceballos offers ICN2 research groups and neighbouring centres a repository of advanced services for the development of new methods, materials and instruments, and in doing so fosters multidisciplinary collaborations within the institute and beyond. It is staffed with highly-qualified scientists and technicians with diverse skillsets that bring added value to the ICN2 and all of its research groups. The research support division serves over 200 registered internal and external users managing approximately 45 instruments across 16 laboratory locations within ICN2 building and the ALBA Synchroton complex. To coordinate this extensive infrastructure, a highly competent management team has been established.
