Adelan has the skills and capabilities to design, develop and implement micro-power solutions for a range of applications. Technical skills are focused on hydrogen technology systems, materials processing, SOFC testing and use of various fuels, including clean fuels like biofuels and hydrogen. With more than three decades' experience in cleantech benefits, system design, and fuel cell/electrolyser demonstration, Adelan has produced numerous demonstrators over the last 30+ years. In 1998, development of the world's first portable rapid starting SOFC fuelled by butane was one significant project. Described in the Journal of Power Sources, this project joins many others, such as the development of micro CHP demonstrator units in 1997 and 2000.
