Left-Handed DNA Conjugation

By Massive Photonics

We also offer conjugation with left-handed DNA (L-DNA), the mirror image of natural DNA. Since L-DNA cannot hybridize with genomic DNA or RNA, it is fully orthogonal to standard right-handed docking strands. Key applications: - Additional sequences for multiplexing: L-DNA roughly doubles the available orthogonal sequence space, with no crosstalk to right-handed strands. - Nucleus imaging: no unspecific binding to endogenous nucleic acids, which strongly reduces background when imaging nuclear targets. Please contact us to discuss suitable L-DNA conjugates for your binder or protein.
