Listed below are the requirements for access to HMNTL. All steps must be completed before access can be granted. Please reach out to hmntl-access@illinois.edu with any questions. Complete the Facility Use Form. Management will review and reach out typically within 3 business days with questions or begin the Facility Use Agreement process. An agreement must be in place before work can be started. Time required for the approval process varies and is typically 2-4 weeks; each proposal is unique and must be carefully evaluated. Then a Facilities Use Agreement and/or Technical Testing Agreement will be generated for signature by your company or institution. Before using the facilities, certain safety trainings are necessary. Please follow the requirements for the facility that you applied to use. To complete some of the trainings, you will need to reach out to UIUC DRS to create a temporary profile.
