Optitune materials share a common polymer platform. Therefore it is possible to combine materials to achieve a ‘tuned’ solution to specific requirements; maybe you need an anti-reflective hard coat for outdoor application that is also easy to clean? Or it could be a display device that needs a multi-layer opto-electronic internal surface, combined with a durable and even foldable outer touch panel surface. Optitune has successfully developed products in cooperation with customers and partners in several application fields. Product features have been developed over time, from low reflectivity and touch features to abrasion resistance and flexibility. The next generation products will include antibacterial and antivirus functionality, as well as so-called thermoformability. Our materials can be applied at low temperatures under normal atmospheric conditions. Materials are customizable, with variable coating thickness and viscosities that accommodate slot, roller, spin, dip and spray application techniques.
