Carbon only support films offer a thin, finely structured background support transparent to the electron beam and are particularly good for small nanoparticles and viruses which do not cluster or will not span the holes of a perforated film. Electrically and thermally conductive and provide image and specimen stability for high resolution imaging. The standard thickness of the Carbon films is approx. 10-20nm. Different combinations of grid meshes, pack sizes and film thicknesses are available on request.
