This Mission Programme addresses socio-ecological systems beyond industrial settings by restoring ecosystems, strengthening climate resilience, and supporting regenerative livelihoods and communities. Strategic Objectives: - To restore degraded ecosystems and enhance biodiversity - To build climate-resilient and adaptive communities - To integrate nature-based solutions with social and economic regeneration Focus Areas: - Ecosystem restoration and biodiversity regeneration (forests, mangroves, rivers, wetlands, coastal and marine systems) - Climate resilience and disaster adaptation (flood mitigation, heat stress reduction, coastal protection, early warning systems) - Regenerative agriculture and food systems (soil health, agroecology, circular bioeconomy, sustainable aquaculture) - Natural capital regeneration (soil, water, biodiversity, coastal systems)
