Solar‑cell materials are evaluated by combining spectral and time-resolved photoluminescence and absorption to quantify defects, quantum yield and recombination dynamics. These photophysical insights are complemented by Raman microscopy, which identifies crystal phases, strain and structural uniformity relevant to photovoltaic efficiency.
